By air (international): The two Canadian international airports closest to Winlaw, BC are Vancouver, BC and Calgary, AB. From Vancouver you can fly or take a bus (approx. 12 hours) to Castlegar, BC. From Calgary the bus ride takes about 12.5 hours.

By bus: Contact Greyhound Canada for schedules and costs to Castlegar and Nelson, BC. Please arrange for us to pick you up in Nelson when you register.

Driving From Vancouver: Approximately 9 hours. Take Trans Canada Highway eastbound from Vancouver to Provincial Highway #3. Continue East on Hwy #3 to Highway #3A. Continue East on Highway #3A to Provincial Highway #6. Go North on Provincial Highway 6.

Driving From Calgary: Approximately 9 hours. Take the Trans Canada Highway West through Banff and Golden to Revelstoke. Once at Revelstoke go Southeast on Provincial Highway #23 to Shelter Bay Galena Bay Ferry. Go South on Provincial Highway #23 to Provincial Highway #6. Follow Highway#6 South passing through New Denver and passing by Slocan City.

Driving From Spokane, WA: Approx. 5 hours. Go North on US-2 to WA211. Proceed North on WA-211 to WA-20. Continue North on WA-20 to WA-31. Then go North on WA-31. Cross border into Canada. Go North on Provincial Highway #6, you will pass through Salmo and then Castlegar.

Driving From Seattle, WA: Take the I-5 North to Bellingham. Exit on Meridian street, heading east and north towards the Sumas border. Cross the border into Canada at Sumas and take the Trans Canada Highway eastbound for Hope. After Hope, you will be given the option of three highways: Go East on Highway #3 until Highway #3A. Continue East on Highway #3A to Provincial Highway #6. Go North on Provincial Highway 6.
